When I look at the fun_plugin script file it looks like you need to keep it around even after installation.
For the user remotebackup,
- Added through the web interface.
- Changed to real shell using commands.
- Command usermod -a -G backup remotbackup did not work until I manually modified groups file as things were a bit off for the backup group.
- Made sure to execute command to save passwd, groups ect..
- Added in private key per normal.
